The Power Intake is the premier air filter designed to create pure horsepower. The intake funnels used in racing machines take advantage of a characteristic where air travels along the side of the side of surfaces. However, the center portion of the funnel is virtually unused. It is this concept that gave birth to the Dual Funnel design. A primary funnel on the top portion of the air cleaner was inserted to channel the air flow directly into the lower funnels at the base of the cleaner. This design was a huge success on the former Super Intake model. The Power Intake took this design and improved the flow characteristics. New funnel design, element material and air flow channeling characteristics make the Power Intake one of the most efficient air cleaners on the market today. By constructing the upper and lower funnel from a highly durable injected resin, engineers were able to construct the ideal shaped funnel previously not possible with the stainless steel material.

Why should one do a Cold Air Intake Mod?

Cold air intake is a device used to bring lower temperature air into a car's internal-combustion engine, to increase engine power and efficiency.
All cold air intakes operate on the principle of increasing the amount of oxygen available for combustion with fuel,

Standard air intake systems tend to be very restrictive especially the super small size 1.5" stock tube,

By relocating the air intake hole position and the size of the tube, you increase the amount of air going into the TB and also more cooler air can be taken in as we know cold air provides more oxygen for the engine to burn.

Advantage of Cold Air Intake

1) Increasing the diameter of the air intake, allowing increased airflow.
2) Smoothing the interior of the intake to reduce air resistance.
3) Providing a more direct route to the air intake.

Stock vs Goodspeed CAI intake
We took 4 different intake of pipe with different materials to under go heat testing in the Engine bay to find out the insulation properities for customer before installation of the Goodspeed CAI.


All pipe are expose to the engine bay heat to more than 60 degree C for a period of 10mins,
With Temperature sensor Gun from Fuke being point at the intake and whole length of the Intake Pipe,
Temperature was take at difference parts to check the increase in temperature during the heating process.
Testing are being done for 5 rounds for a summarized results
