GReddy / GREX Oil Cooler Kits help prolong the life of your oil and in turn your internal engine components. Hard driving causes higher engine temperatures.
Factory oil coolers are normally small water-cooled devices sandwiched between the oil filter and engine block. These tax the cooling system even under normal driving conditions. GReddy / GREX oil coolers are an excellent addition, and are especially effective in harsh driving environments. By using a similar inner-fin core design as our famous intercoolers, we are able to increase oil capacity, decrease oil temperatures, and extend engine and oil life.
Our systems also offer an internal (or external) thermostat to allow for quick engine warm up. The efficient core and durable steel-braided lines ensure good flow and a leak free installation

JASMA SuperCooler are 100% aluminum construction and use stamped plates sandwiched together to create one of the most efficient oil cooler devices available.
Not only does this unique design provide for maximized cooling through more efficient heat dissipation but it also provides a much sturdier cooler which is practically impervious to flying rocks or other debris. The JASMA SuperCooler also offers an additional feature known as " Low Pressure Drop ". The coolers assembled with hose bard ends include a unique bypass feature allowing a controlled amount of ATF to bypass the stacked plate core when the fluid s cold. This is beneficial in cold climate area to guard against lube system failure. Controlled by viscosity, fluid is returned directly to the lube circuit through bypass openings in the stacked plate core. The key to automatic transmission life is keeping the transmission fluid fresh, clean and cool. When fluid temperature exceeds the optimum operating range of 160 to 200 degrees, it begins to burn, decreasing the life of the fluid and in turn the life of the seals, bearings and all moving parts. Installation of a cooler will extend the life of the transmission and help prevent costly repairs.
Choosing the Right Transmission Cooler
Select the correct transmission cooler by determining where there is enough t numbers the best three positions to mount the transmission cooler in order. Transmission coolers are more efficient when they receive maximum air flow.
Position 1, the transmission cooler is 100% efficient.
Position 2, between the air conditioning condenser and radiator, is 75% efficient.
Position 3, between the radiator and fan, is only 60% efficient.
If positions 2 or 3 are used, a larger transmission cooler will be needed to compensate for the loss of cooling power. If this is the case, choose a transmission cooler that is one or two sizes larger.
Transmission coolers help extend the life of your transmission fluid and can prevent transmission failure from overheating.
